I am a slacker!!!

So I do apologise for all those people out there wondering if we have indeed run off to join the circus like I keep threatening!
One day we might, but this week I have been a bit sick! It all started on Sunday morning after my first day at Paper Arts...and went downhill from there. Monday I had to call Greg home cause I was starting to see things! Must have been the fever. The rest of the week has been a slow, but steady recovery with no one else succumbing to the dratted virus (thank my lucky stars!). They were all a tad disappointed that we have had NO trips to the park after school this week though!
I have lots of other news that is not scrapping related but I would love to share anyway! So here goes!
* My cousin Jono and his partner Carly have had a baby boy. He is about 4 months old now and is looking more like a Stewart every day.
* I have three of my jetsetting friends coming to visit soon. Sue, Leisha and Alicia will all be arriving within a week of each other. I had planned to get my tonsils out before easter, but have postponed that until I can do all my socialising!
* We are not going away at Easter any more. Mum and Dad are renovating the unit and it won't be ready for another 6 weeks! SO I am aiming for Straddie, but I guess we will see what happens.
*Our house is coming along nicely. They have finished all the fortifying and the yard is huge. The boys have planned the cubby...sounds like it is going to cost more than the house! lol! Sleepout, Fort, slide, bridge...Seriously, they are so excited!
And the news everyone has been expecting for a while...That sweet and cute little two year old of mine has ATTITUDE!!! Take this conversation...
Auds is behind me in the car. I couldn't understand what she is saying, but have since worked it out...
A: "I can't drink my water"
M: "Have you run out?
A: "No, can't drink it!"
M: "So is it empty?"
A: (loudly) "NO. Can't drink it up!"
M: "OH, are you full?'
A: "NO, I CAN NOT DRINK IT UP THE STRAW!!!!"

Turns out the straw was flush with the bottom of the bottle and she was sucking air. But I just love the clarification on the conjunction...like I was two or something! lol!

Sounds like a nasty flu Ang - glad you are feeling better. I feel like I have been fighting something off all week.

Glad your house is going well - forts are great - our kids love theirs.
