This is my Grandfather. He asked me to take his picture with his medals on for prosperity. He served as a Major in the Army for 21 years. My pop served in the Airforce during the second world war. I am currently looking up their service records. Did you know you can request a record from the national archives? It is really busy today, but if you ever wonder where and when your loved ones served, especially if they are no longer here to tell you, it is a wonderful service.
