oops

OK…so life is a little hectic at the moment. There is just so much to do and no-one to do it! What with Mum being away, Greg working super hard and his mum working full time, I am starting to struggle a little. But thanks to the help I am receiving from all my close friends, we are chugging along.

For my non-scrapping friends who I haven’t told, I broke my ankle on Tuesday night. Playing netball. I have played indoor netball for years in the past and not had any hassles at all. I return…not in peak condition, but not the worst shape I have ever been in and not only break my toe…the first bone in my body to ever break, but then go on to break my ankle! I feel like a big Gumby!

The upside is that I can sit on my wheelie chair all day and not get up for much…Greg is pitching in where he can, but it takes a lot to organise a family of three preschoolers and I am in better practice at it than him, so I am still in ‘charge’. Of the CHAOS!!!! I don’t do too well in chaos, it tends to make me anxious…

Other news is that we’ll have a budget ready next weekend for the house, so we’ll see if GW Homes comes through with the goods. They have been good to deal with so far…if a little slow, but I guess al builders are like that, and it is good to know they are sought after.

I have done HEAPS of scrapping over the past couple of days…like 10 layouts! And I actually like all of them which is new for me at the moment. I seemed to be stuck in a bit of a rut. But out of that as of yesterday and ready to roll!!!

Take care all. Think of me as you zip about the shops, housebound for a few weeks and slowly going stir crazy!!!

Hope things are improving, Ang, and I hope you are managing to calm that anxious feeling. Just keep saying, 'it's only for a few weeks, it's only for a few weeks...' over and over to yourself.
