Weekend is over, boo hoo hoo!

Wow, every weekend we think we will have a quiet one and every weekend it gets more and more stacked! Crammed so much into this weekend and am pleased to say that I have done heaps of scrapping...like this LO I did for SAM's Cyber Crop. Just a quicky, it only took 30 minutes to put together!
Greg went out to SAM and picked up my DT pack for me...I was only there on Thursday, and will be back there during the week, but it was nice to have it for the weekend. Got some great goodies and I am really looking forward to doing a couple of layouts as well as some altered projects! Just for something a little different.
We had a false lead on the sale of the house on Friday. I just about killed myself getting it ready for a couple who were here for at least an hour, then left us hanging all night and then decided it was not for them! So we had a friend of ours come over and chat about doing extensions instead...may be a viable option!
Hi too to all my non scrapping friends who have found their way here! I hope the scrapping stuff isn't too boring for you, but hey, love me, love my addiction!!!!

SAM is the best!!

OK. After spending the day traipsing around the few scrap shops in Brisbane I have not yet visited, I can safely say that SAM is still my alltime favourite. Best stock, best layout (even though it is small), great staff (hehe). I don't think I need to go anywhere else for a long time! I remember my first visit there...I was so in awe of all the Chatterbox...and I haven't stopped referring people since.
Audrey had a crumby day though, not enough sleep and too much time in the car, poor little thing. Didn't stop her from being 'endearing' to anyone who looked twice at her...she sure does know how to turn on the charm!
We also had a bit of a frustrating experience with a real estate agent. Not our agent we have listed with...she is fantastic! But another agent from the office called to make an appointment. I got the house spotless. She changed the appointment time to 5:30...busiest time of the night. I raced into the city to get Greg, raced home, fed bub, Greg got the boys and took them to the park...they were high as kites. 6pm came and no agent. Got a phone call saying that after talking to the clients she has decided not to bring them around as they weren't in our price range and SHE DIDN'T WANT TO WASTE MY TIME!!! ER DER!!! Already wasted! Gosh I was mad!
Had a clothes party tonight...not bad stuff, but I would have liked to see more summery stuff. Met a few girls from the SAM boards. I am really looking forward to the retreat now...mum is coming too so it should be heaps of fun!

I am not a walking advertisement for children today!

If you haven't had kids yet, don't read this. It will put you off for life. If you do read this, I accept no responsibility for it. But rest assured that it doesn't all happen at once, it gets worse expedentially.
Thought I would post my night last night.

6:30 Audrey in bed
7:00 boys to bed
7:05 Audrey still not asleep, more feed
7:30 Thomas asleep, Joseph awake wanting to take his broom to bed??!!??
8:00 Thomas awake with a bad dream...can't move my legs
8:45 Joseph awake for a drink
10:00 Thomas awake with sore legs...time for panadol
10:45 Joseph awake with a sore toosh....cream and panadol for him
11:00 Jose awake again...for a hug!
11:15 Mummy in bed totally knakered

anyone could have woken up during the next few hours...didn't hear anything until...

4:00 Audrey up for a feed
5:00 Audrey still awake...not crying, just whinging off and on...so I am awake too!
5:15 Audrey asleep
6:30 Send Greg in to get Audrey up. Assulted with three smiling faces bright and cheery, ready for a day of play!

Meanwhile I did get a couple of layouts done. Won't post them yet til I decide if I want to send them in to FK or not. Not sure if my style of scrapping is what they like! I love these LO though.

have a great day!

An addiction is forming...

I am addicted to my blog. And yours, if you have one! I love reading about other people's lives! And sharing mine! So if you do read it...thanks! I do love to share! I have enabled comments now, so feel free!

Day at home today. I bought the boys Robots the movie and they totally loved it...quite a cute little story I think. Just could not sit through the whole thing at once myself...better things to do I guess!

Audrey still isn't well, should be on the mend though. She ate dinner and has kept it down, but who knows what tomorrow will bring!

Had a great night at SAM last night. I really love having a regular place to go to and scrap with some great friends. Not that I usually get much scrapping done!

I now have all the BG 'lucky' papers I want...will be using them shortly. I am going to try and scrap more during the day when Audrey has her nap. If she will let me do some jobs while she is awake that is! At least I will then be in the same room as the boys rather than running all over the house.

looking forward to the weekend...hopefully it will bring on a sale of the house. Cross your fingers for us!

My day at home was not to be...Audrey started daycare today and was supposed to be there until 1:30. But she had a little upset tummy and was home by 11. Must have been first day nerves!!!
She has come home and slept all day, so I have been able to do alittle scrapping. I finally got to use the new BG...Fusion is the only range I have so far...going to SAM tonight, so I will get more then. I made a little backdrop in our garage...not nearly wide enough for group photos, but you learn best through trial and error hey! This is a picture of my parents and our three cherubs in June on my Dad's birthday. I love that none of the kids are looking at the camera, but mum and dad are calm and collected in the middle of their mayhem!

I also did my 5 product challenge for October...mostly happy with that one, but will have to wait until Oct to upload. I am loving this part of the design team challenges....I always like to have some parameters set for me, otherwise I am lost for a while, before I can focus and get started!

OH, I hear a baby calling me, off to play mummy again for a while!

Just a quicky!

Just a quick post while Audrey is sleeping...still. The poor little darling had her frst tummy bug hit this morning and neither of us were even remotely prepared! Neither of the boys had a tummy virus til they were 2, so I am kind of in the dark on this one. Lucky I didn't wean her!
Had a brainwave in the shower this morning and turned around to draw in the mist on the glass and realised I had square tiles! Now I can do all my LO sketches in the shower LOL!! Only while rinsing my hair though, not standing idly under running water due to strict water restrictions!
Am very excited as SAM has just got a whole shipment of papers in. Both Basic Grey and Junkitz and they look unreal. esp the BG. Can't wait to get creating. Have not been 'allowed' to scrap since Friday and am having a few withdrawls...the table is coming out tonight though!
Chow for now,

busy,busy, busy!

Yay I am back online. It is funny, I only had a day away from the computer, but I really missed it!

Though I would finally get around to posting a few images, not that I have had a lot of time for scrapping these past few days. Too busy socialising!

This is one of Audrey at 8 weeks old. It was published in Scrapbook Creations, but the colours came out all wrong. It was soooo orangy! So here it is in it's true glory LOL!!!

Have had a really great weekend thus far. Crop night at my place on Friday night. It was so much fun...the most scrappers i have had at my place ever! Hope even sent us a challenge to do from SAM. She is so generous. I don't know any one else who would do that!

This is the LO I did for the challenge. I love these pictures of Joseph. There is another one of him walking down the steps in profile...I will have to do that one seperately!

Saturday I went to the hairdresser and had a bit of style chopped into my locks. I washed it this morning and now i have curly hair. All my wishes paid off!!!

Saturday afternoon we went to Audreys little firend Kyan's first birthday party. It was so sweet to see the kids running around together. It took ages for Thomas to settle down and join in though. We worked out that it was because at the beginning of the party he was offered a blue hat, but he wanted a yellow one! He didn't whinge or anything, just went really happy and excited when he found an abandoned yellow one and started playing like he knew all the kids since birth. He is so funny some days!

Then last night I had dinner with the DT girls from SAM, (minus ZINA :( ) We had a great time chatting and laughing..I got a cramp in my neck from laughing so hard at one story!!! It was a much needed casual night out with the girls and no kids!!! And such great company, I couldn't have had anything but a good time. Roll on ISC!!!

Today we had our 16th open house. For the first time no-one came through, but it is the first week of the school holidays, so that may be part of it...hopefully. Maybe someone is sending us a sign to say not to move and build...Greg and I will have to have a good chat about this one soon I think!!! Mum and Dad came and took the boys down to the park while we cleaned up. Mum looked really nice, so I took a quick picture of her. It will be lovely too. You know when you get the perfect shot on film, and you can't wait to get it back to see it?? This is one of those shots!

Busy week ahead, but always time for the computer and scrapping!
